At Bulldog, what we do goes far beyond storage, staging, and delivery. The real story is how we do it.
It’s in the decisions we make when no one is watching. It’s in the way we show up for our customers. And it’s rooted in the values that guide us every single day.
To bring that to life, we sat down with two tenured team members who have experienced it firsthand: Ralph Strzewski and Santina Hatch. Their perspectives highlight what it really means to live out Bulldog’s values in the field, in the warehouse, and in the relationships we build everyday.
For Bulldog, going above and beyond isn’t situational. It’s standard.
Ralph shared a moment that perfectly captures that mindset.
“It was a few years ago… Althoff Industries had a newer project manager… it was his very first helicopter lift. He was not sure how it was going to go… Our team worked with him to explain how the lift was going to go… and even got involved when the lift plan had to change on the spot.”
What could have been a stressful, uncertain situation turned into a successful project completed in under an hour. Not because it was required. But because our team was looking for an opportunity; stepped in, guided, and adapted in real time.
That’s the difference. We don’t just execute. We partner.
“Excellence” isn’t a buzzword at Bulldog. It’s visible. It’s tangible.
From the job site to the warehouse, it shows up in the details.
Ralph explains it simply: “Our team members are professional, have their PPE on, communicate with the customer… and will do what they safely can to ensure complete customer satisfaction.” That mindset carries into how we handle equipment too. “It causes the team to stop and take a minute to make sure that they are doing things right… asking things like ‘do you need these loaded in a specific sequence?’”
And when customers walk through our facility, they notice the difference.
Santina put it best: “When our customers come in… it is AMAZING to hear them say how unbelievable the layout is… how clean it is… they are just amazed.” Excellence isn’t accidental. It’s intentional, every step of the way.
At Bulldog, “Faith and Family” isn’t just a value on paper. It’s something you feel. It shows up in how we treat each other, how we treat customers, and how we handle challenges.
Santina describes it clearly: "We are never just a vendor or supplier. We are family to every customer. They are treated with the same respect we treat family.”
Ralph adds another layer: “Even if someone isn’t religious, we all have faith in something. That faith causes all of us to treat people with respect and care… even when mistakes are made.” And when pressure hits, those values matter even more. “Mistakes are going to be made. The important thing is to own it… and do everything we can to make things right,” Ralph shared.
Internally, that culture runs deep.
Santina, who has been with the company for 26 years, said: “We are a huge family… the owners truly care for everyone that works for them. It is one of the things that has kept me here.”
Ralph echoed that sentiment in a powerful way: “I don’t know a lot of places where bonds become so strong… that you become friends and extended family.” This isn’t just culture. It’s commitment to people.
So what really sets Bulldog apart? It’s not just what we offer. It’s how we approach it.
Santina put it honestly: “We do not low ball the price to just get the job… the service and quality you get is priceless.” And that value is built on a bigger philosophy.
Ralph explains: “Our goal is to be an extension of our partners’ team… not someone you hire to do the job.” That means thinking ahead. Staying organized. And taking ownership.
Ralph adds: “Most people would be surprised by the amount of work it takes to run an organized, professional critical equipment warehouse… especially when you’re adhering to rigorous standards.
At the end of the day, Bulldog isn’t just supporting projects. We’re supporting people while advancing our mission to grow and inspire others. Through guidance when it matters most. Through excellence in the smallest details. Through a culture rooted in faith, family, and accountability.
Because for us, it’s never just about the build. It’s about going above and beyond to help others, every time.
